Soho Theatre, London’s most vibrant producer of new theatre, comedy and cabaret, are looking for a Comedy Producer based in Mumbai. This exciting new role is a collaboration with partner G5A Foundation for Contemporary Culture, where the post will be based.
The Comedy Producer (Soho Theatre) will support Soho’s comedy work in Mumbai and with Indian performers in the UK; help to build a regular Soho comedy programme at G5A; and strengthen the cross-cultural working partnership between the two organisations.
The Comedy Producer will work from G5A as part of both the Soho Theatre comedy team and G5A. It will require visits to the UK, both to Soho Theatre and to Edinburgh Fringe.
The successful applicant will have a demonstrable passion for comedy, and an enthusiastic and problem-solving approach to all aspects of comedy promotion and reaching new audiences.
