We’re looking for someone who wants to make connections in a fearless way, to work with communities, young people and national networks to support creativity as we work towards opening our second venue in Waltham Forest. An interest in theatre, performance and / or comedy is essential – we are looking for someone who is passionate about live work and would like to be part of creating a local hub with big ideas, a local theatre with a national profile. You do not need to have worked in this role, or one like it, before.

The Technician role combines technical and practical skills with teamwork and communication, working alongside other technicians, artists and freelance creative teams. They can be relied upon to deliver the creative visions of artists in a safe and effective manner, the successful running of the theatre’s busy programme, the wider building and our work elsewhere.

We’re looking for someone who can help us manage our busy theatre building and ensure it is safe for and welcoming to everyone who uses it. Our new role involves maintaining the building fabric and infrastructure, liaising with external contractors and different building user groups, and working closely with operational teams. It’ll also involve some project management, troubleshooting, problem solving and occasionally getting your hands dirty.
