Terms & conditions

We want to look after you, our artists and our shared environment in a fair and open way, so here’s the deal.

By purchasing a ticket you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Dean Street Ticketing and Visiting T&Cs

Our intimate auditoria offer a great view of the stage from all seats. However, depending on the style of production some seats offer a view that works better with the design of show or style of performance. By splitting our auditorium into different price bands we can offer a range of prices based on where we feel the optimum viewing experience will be. Our ticket prices are subject to change according to demand which helps us keep the show going and improves our offerings.

Concessions are available on certain performances to full-time students, those aged under 26, senior citizens, children, unwaged, people with registered disabilities, and Unison Members. ‘Theatre Union’ concessions include Equity, BECTU, Stage Management Association, SDUK & Writers Guild. All concessions are subject to availability and must be mentioned at the time of booking.

All of our shows have age recommendations. Some of our shows have age restrictions according to content and ID may be required to enter our venues. Please contact our box office team for more info.

Each ticket is inclusive of a £1.50 restoration levy per ticket (which goes to the upkeep of our home on Dean Street) and a £1.50 booking fee. If we are selling tickets for another venue through the Soho Theatre website, please note there often may be an additional booking fee but this will be stated throughout the booking process. You may be asked to make a donation to help us continue to deliver a program of the best comedy and theatre in the heart of Soho. This is optional, but always gratefully received!

Tickets must not be sold for profit or commercial gain by any outlet – including secondary ticketing sites or personally – other than Soho Theatre or one of its authorised agents. Failure to comply will make your tickets and transactions void and we reserve the right to sell these tickets to another customer.

If a performance is sold out we will endeavour to sell any returned tickets to the waiting list for that specific performance only, subject to availability. If a ticket is resold we will issue a voucher to your Soho Theatre account. The credit will expire after 12 months, from the date of the issue of the voucher and can be used for payment for future bookings at Soho Theatre only.

A re-sale will incur a charge of £3 administration fee per ticket and the seller will be notified of resale via an email. If you do not receive an email by the time of the show, then it is likely we have not been able to resell the tickets.

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta and American Express. We are a cashless venue.

Once purchased, you can exchange tickets to a different performance of the same show up to 48 hours before the booked date, for a £2 exchange fee per ticket and any price difference. This is subject to availability.

If you have bought tickets for the wrong date (for example, a matinee instead of an evening), please call our Box Office and we can exchange the tickets (please note, there may be additional to pay due to price difference). We will not offer refunds if you buy tickets for the correct show once you have already purchased for the wrong show.

In the event we have to cancel a show due to circumstances beyond our control, we offer three options;

  • You can change your ticket into account credit for a future performance
  • Receive a refund
  • Donate your ticket price to Soho Theatre.

Please note: the restoration levy and booking fees are nonrefundable.

We regret that we will not be able to offer a refund or exchange on your ticket(s) if you are refused entry to a performance due to being late.

Please note – we do not refund tickets due to strike action outside of our control when a performance is still going ahead.

If your account is credited, due to a resale of tickets, from a voucher or any other means, credit remains on our system for 12 months before it automatically expires. Credit cannot be extended after it has expired.

Gift Vouchers can be bought online or over the phone with our audience team and can be set up to send to the recipient on a specific day. It is valid for 12 months from the day it is sent and can be used to book any shows booked through Soho Theatre website or with our ticketing team within that time period. The voucher cannot be used to buy food or drink at Soho Theatre bar during your visit. Once the voucher has expired, we cannot extend or reissue a voucher, regardless of whether the full balance has been used or not.

If you don’t make the start of the show, you may be asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance to enter the venue. For certain shows, we may not be able to get you in at all, due to the nature of the performance space or the show.

Any recording of the performance (either audio or visual) is prohibited, and we reserve the right to refuse entry of, and use of, such equipment on the premises.
