Joel Kim Booster

Tue 13 – Sat 17 Dec 22 60 minutes
Joel Kim Booster is a Los Angeles-based stand-up comedian, writer, and actor who has been named one of 'The Queer Young Comics Redefining American Humour' by the New York Times.

Joel recently starred in the rom-com Fire Island, which the AV Club called an ‘instant classic’, alongside Bowen Yang. The film, which he also wrote, has been described as an unapologetic and modern twist take on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. His first hour-long comedy special for Netflix, PsychoSexual, premiered this summer also.

Joel currently stars on the Apple TV+ series Loot playing Nicholas, Maya Rudolph’s quirky assistant. His other TV and film credits include Sunnyside (NBC), Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO), Shrill (Hulu), Search Party (TBS), BoJack Horseman, and Big Mouth (Netflix). Joel’s comedy has been defined as ‘unfiltered’ and ‘preternaturally confident’.
