Ari Eldjárn: Return of the Icelandic

Iceland’s biggest stand-up comedian (& first-ever Netflix star) returns to the UK following sold out runs at Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne and ours.

The grandson of a previous president, Ari is the beating heart and unofficial ambassador for a fascinatingly humorous frozen rock called Iceland.

A family man with a unique perspective being locally famous in his own country; having run-ins with Icelandic tabloids, a new relationship and being a father while all the time being a traveling comedian. This former flight attendant’s fast comedy is utterly charming; the coldness of his homeland is in stark contrast to the warmness of his delivery.

Born and raised in Reykjavík, Ari has appeared on Pardon My Icelandic (Netflix), Mock the Week (BBC) and performed with the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra.
