Home to powerful new plays and our biggest acts, our Theatre is available for daytime hire. As the only venue of this size in central London, the Theatre plays host to all manner of events – showcases, industry conferences, TED talks, meet-and-greets and product launches.
At 150 capacity the Theatre is our largest venue, with seating on a raked bank and two balconies. The stage is at floor level and is 10 x 6.5m, please note – there may be a theatrical set in place during your event. Whether it’s colourful flooring or a fixed backdrop, a set adds a unique element to any event, and we will endeavour to communicate this design with you at the point of booking.
Due to our busy building there is limited backstage area, please let us know if you require a crossover or offstage entrance and we’ll provide a creative solution.
There is lift access to the venue, both at the audience entrance and at stage level. Please let us know if you have any additional access requirements. There are gender neutral and accessible toilets on the same floor.
Use of the Theatre’s lighting and sound rig is included in your booking, along with a dedicated venue Technician, Venue Manager and Ushers.
Availability is dependent on the Soho programme of shows, matinees and workshops, general hours are:
Monday to Friday: 9am – 6pm
Saturday: Midday – 6pm
Sunday: 10am – 10pm
Monday – Saturday
£240 per hour + VAT
£1800 per day + VAT (eight hours)
Minimum booking of three hours
£280 per hour + VAT
£2200 per day (eight hours)
Minimum booking of four hours
Do you require a dressing room or break out space? Take a look at our Meeting Rooms which can be hired for a concessionary day rate when booked in conjunction with a venue.

Of course, theatrical sets can affect the functionality of the space. And if this is the case, we’ll forward through set plans and photos as soon as they become available. We assess the safety of each set very carefully and will let you know if we have any concerns.
The adjacent dressing rooms do not usually form part of hires. As an alternative dressing room / break out space, our Seminar Room on the 3rd floor can be booked when a performance space is booked.
Unfortunately we’re unable to offer Box Office services and promotional services as part of hires.
