Autumn Theatre Season 2019
World premieres, Edinburgh transfers and returning Soho favourites - a new season of surprise and subversion.
We want to look after you, our artists and our shared environment in a fair and open way, so here’s the deal:
At Soho Theatre we like to reward early booking audiences with the best price available. Our 180 seat auditorium offers a great view of the stage from all seats. However, depending on the style of production some seats offer a view that works better with the design of show or style of performance. By splitting our auditorium into different price bands we can offer a range of prices based on where we feel the optimum viewing experience will be. Our ticket prices are subject to change according to demand, so by booking early you can sure to secure the best seats at the best price. Please note: latecomers may not be admitted to performances. If we are able to admit you as a latecomer, you may not be able to take up your allocated seats you booked, or you may be asked to use the standing area.
Concessions are available to full-time students, those aged under 26, senior citizens, children, unwaged, people with registered disabilities, and Unison Members. ‘Theatre Union’ concessions include Equity, BECTU, Stage Management Association, SDUK & Writers Guild. All concessions are subject to availability and must be mentioned at the time of booking.
Some of our shows have age recommendations, and children can only be admitted with adequate adult supervision.
We welcome younger children, but if they become unsettled during a performance we may ask you to take them outside. Some of our shows have strict age restrictions according to content.
We don’t charge a booking fee for tickets at Soho Theatre when booked online or by phone or in person. If we are selling tickets for another venue through the Soho Theatre website, please note there often may be an additional booking fee but this will be stated throughout the booking process. You may be asked to make a donation to help us continue to deliver a programme of the best comedy and theatre in the heart of Soho.
Tickets must not be sold for profit or commercial gain by any outlet other than Soho Theatre or one of its authorised agents. Failure to comply will make this ticket and transaction void.
If a performance is sold out we will endeavour to sell any returned tickets to the waiting list for that specific performance only, subject to availability. If a ticket is resold we will issue a voucher to you for your ticket. The voucher will expire after 12 months, from the date of the issue of the voucher and can be used for payment for future bookings at Soho Theatre only.
A re-sale will incur a charge of £2 administration fee per ticket and the seller must contact the box office the day after to confirm sale.
Collecting at the Box Office
Tickets may be collected from the Box Office any time between 10am and 10pm Monday to Friday, from two hours before the first performance on Saturdays and up to 10 minutes before the start time of shows which start after 10pm. We recommend picking up your tickets at least half an hour before the performance begins. Please bring along the card you paid with and proof of eligibility for any discounted tickets. Comedy tickets can be collected from 5pm on the day of the performance.
To avoid unauthorised resale of tickets, tickets will not be posted out and should be collected from the Box Office.
We accept VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta and American Express. All cheques should be made payable to Soho Theatre.
Exchanges and refunds
Once purchased tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. We will only offer ticket refunds for cancelled shows.
We regret that we will not be able to offer a refund or exchange on your ticket(s) if you are refused entry to a performance due to being late.
The Management reserves the right to refuse admission or re-entry to a performance; under these circumstances refunds or exchanges will not be offered.
The Management reserves the right to alter or amend the programme without prior notice as a result of unforeseen circumstances. Latecomers may either be asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance, or be refused admission. Any recording of the performance (either audio or visual) is prohibited, and the Management reserves the right to refuse entry of, and use of, such equipment on the premises.
The Management reserves the right to re-seat customers due to unforeseen staging, sightlines or latecomer/re-admittance considerations, under which circumstances the best available seats will be chosen as the alternative.
By purchasing a ticket you agree to all of the above terms and conditions.
