Our Comedy Lab Plus is for comedians who already have experience gigging and are looking for the next step. If you have 30 or more gigs under your belt, this Lab will help you polish material, hone your voice and also offers practical advice from industry professionals. Continue working on your comedic craft and collaborate with other up and coming acts in a creatively challenging, supportive environment.
Comedy Lab: Plus has alternating terms with different focus. While our autumn 2025 term concentrated on clowning and character comedy, this winter 2026 term will be for those who want to improve their stand-up. This stand-up term of Comedy Lab: Plus is led by comedian Esther Manito, with support from guest artists.
The Comedy Lab Plus group meet weekly on Saturdays, with a public sharing at the final session at our Dean Street venue, to celebrate all you’ve learned over the course. We ask that participants commit to attending all 10 weeks.
