Hajar J. Woodland was raised in a strict Muslim household where birthdays weren’t celebrated and singing on stage was banned… and yet somehow she ended up a professional singer performing for footballers and finance bros at luxury events and private parties.​

First Love weaves songs, standup and state-school nostalgia into a moving show that explores what it means to find love and your voice.
