Edinburgh Comedy Nominees 2019
A veritable smorgasbord of comedy nominees (and the winner) for you to tuck into.
Deck your balls with boughs of jolly...
Fem-fresh and flaming, your three favourite barbiturate babes are back to lead you through the apocalyptic wasteland of millennial Yule in an explosion of original music, song parodies, sketches, and sexy chair dances.
Sex Shells are London’s hottest queer musical-sketch-comedy threesome. They sold out the Soho Theatre in March – and again in April. They sleighed the critics at the Edinburgh Fringe, and now they’re here to ruin Christmas. Expect plums, pearl necklaces, and the public school striptease – erections, rejections, fashion assassination – God, food allergies, global warming, chemsex, trans rights, Maggie Smith! Ahem. Expect the camp apocalypse. Oh – and straight white men? We got your backs, babez.
Oi, Dirty Carol – we’re gunna sing ya. Friggy pudding.
‘Witty lyrics and fantastic performances.’List
