Saturday Night Live cast member, and U.S. stand-up star Chris Redd returns to London’s Soho Theatre, following his critically acclaimed debut run at the venue in 2019.
The Chicago-born stand-up comic, actor, writer and rapper, has been a regular SNL cast member since 2017 – most notably portraying the likes of Kanye West, Soulja Boy and the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, alongside guest hosts such as Donald Glover, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Sandra Oh – and his work on the long-running NBC show was recognized with an Emmy Award win in 2018 for Oustanding Original Music and Lyrics.
Chris recently starred in The Comedy Central Roast of Alec Baldwin and released his debut stand-up album, But Here We Are – available on Spotify. He’s performed stand-up on Comedy Central Stand-up Presents, and appeared in The Lonely Island spin-off movie Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. He’s also acted in NBC’s Will & Grace, Netflix’s Disjointed, Wet Hot American Summer and Love.
