Spring/Summer Theatre 2019
Award-winning new writing from some of the most exciting playwrights on the scene today
If you’re considering stepping into the spotlight for the first time as a stand-up, you’ll need our Comedy Lab Stand Up course.
Are you ready to set your inner comic free? Our 10 week Stand up Comedy course will help you find your comedic voice and hone your writing and performance skills. You will be working with established comedians, some of which you may have seen already on our stages. The goal of the course is to create your own 3-4 minute set which you will perform, at the end of term, in front of a live and supportive audience.
The Comedy Lab Stand-Up group meets weekly on Saturdays, with classes starting on 4 May until 29 Jun. At the end of the course you will have a chance to share your work to a live audience in a safe environment, with a sharing on Sat 6 Jul at our very own Soho Theatre. We ask that participants commit to attending all 10 weeks. Check the current term’s sharing here
The entire course costs £125, however there are some bursaries available.
Applications close on Sunday 31 March, 10pm. We aim to get back to everyone on 6 April, 6pm. For any questions or queries, please contact Dimple on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 02074780143
