From Indian college school drop-out to the world’s most famous Hindi speaking comedian, Zakir Khan’s career continues to smash a roll call record book of firsts in an English speaking dominated industry.
After making his Soho Theatre debut in 2021, we co-presented his record-breaking Royal Albert Hall performance in 2023 becoming the first ever Indian comedian to headline and perform in Hindi. Zakir continues to break records with us, this summer for one night only as part of our opening year programme before heading to New York’s Madison Square Garden in August followed by Toronto’s The Scotiabank Arena.
With multiple comedy specials on Amazon Prime Video and nigh on a billion views on YouTube, Zakir’s anecdotal, personal and heartfelt delivery has struck a chord with comedy fans globally.
