Developed with a particular focus on creating opportunities for young people connected to Children’s Social Care and Early Help, the programme also welcomes young people from across the wider community, bringing together diverse experiences, perspectives, and voices.
Supported by social workers, other social care professionals, and theatre makers, Stage4Change combines theatre-making with trauma-informed practice, using acting, directing, devising, and storytelling to help young people discover their strengths, express themselves, and build confidence.
Waltham Forest is full of talented young people with stories to tell. Stage4Change was created to provide a platform for those voices, offering a space where young people can be creative, take risks, build confidence, and share what matters to them. Every aspect of this production has been developed collaboratively, with young people’s ideas, experiences, and creativity at its heart.
