Great British Mysteries: MAN MOUNTAIN

Tue 30 Jul – Sat 3 Aug 24 65 minutes
Olivier Award winner Will Close returns to Soho with this hilarious two hander.
‘Spoof character comedy at it’s finest’
★★★★★ To Do List

It’s 1985, and former explorer Teddy Tyrell has blindly pledged to find, and conquer, a mountain bigger than Everest. Even with his ever-doting assistant, Olive Bacon, by his side, surely this is one boast too far. Or is it? Is there really a mountain bigger than Everest? Will their crampons give them cramp? And is it actually possible for two performers to look like they’re climbing a mountain while only two feet off the ground?

MAN MOUNTAIN is a 1980s action film, live on stage. Sort of.

With sold-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe under their thermal belts, Great British Mysteries are thrilled to be back at Soho Theatre with this extremely tall tale.

Great British Mysteries first performed this show under the title Bad Altitude in August 2023.
