The night begins with a panel discussion which will be moderated by AIWG Founder and Director, Anisa Mahmood, featuring creatives, exploring identity and the role of art in challenging Islamophobia. Confirmed speakers include the Theatre’s Co-Chair and Actor, Alessandro Babalola, Actor Ainy Jaffri Rahman, Radio Presenter/Audio Artist Shemiza Rashid, Founder of Black Muslim Collective Noura A. Sheikh, Preforming Artist Nomadic Libaax, Founder/CEO of Waw Creative Arts Nusaiba Mohammad-Timol.
Following the panel, enjoy a lively performance segment showcasing leading Muslim artists, followed by informal networking.
