An evening of bold conversation, creative expression, and community hosted by the Anti-Islamophobia Working Group (AIWG).

This event is an opportunity to reclaim narratives and celebrate British Muslims in the creative sector, all whilst addressing the serious issue of Islamophobia.

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we mark Islamophobia Awareness Month and #FlipTheScript on Islamophobia.

The night begins with a panel discussion which will be moderated by AIWG Founder and Director, Anisa Mahmood, featuring creatives, exploring identity and the role of art in challenging Islamophobia. Confirmed speakers include the Theatre’s Co-Chair and Actor, Alessandro Babalola, Actor Mim Shaik, Actor Ainy Jaffri Rahman, Radio Presenter/Audio Artist Shemiza Rashid, Founder of Black Muslim Collective Noura A. Sheikh, Preforming Artist Nomadic Libaax, Founder/CEO of Waw Creative Arts Nusaiba Mohammad-Timol.

Following the panel, enjoy a lively performance segment showcasing leading Muslim artists, followed by informal networking.
