‘Alexis is a total supernova. Go see this show and catch some joy.’
Welcome to an original queer musical comedy about Alexis’s childhood as a stan.
After moving to rural Germany from New York City at age 8, discovering pop divas online was his only salvation. Now he’s ready to sing about it!
Join Alexis for this Edinburgh Fringe preview as he attempts to get his P.h.D.IVA in Stanology, with a concentration in Motherological Studies and a minor in Slayviation. Does this queer Bo Burnham have what it takes to be… A lil gay diva?!
Alexis Sakellaris is a queer international artist debuting their very first solo show. A chaotic upbringing between coasts (don’t ask), a failed attempt at med school (don’t recommend) and a degree in German musical theatre (huh?) have led to a hard detour into the fringe landscape. Alexis recently had the honour of supporting comedian Matt Rogers on the UK and US legs of his Have You Heard Of Christmas? tour.

She has also taken three shows to the Edinburgh Fringe, Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film and Theaterszene Europa Festivals as a writer/performer, and as Artistic Director of Scandal Theatre.

She is currently Cover Conductor/rehearsal pianist on Standing at the Sky’s Edge (Gillian Lynne) and Assistant MD on Your Lie In April (Harold Pinter). Other credits include: Assistant MD for Ride at the Southwark Playhouse 2023 and MD of Brighton Pantomime Cinderella in 2023. She frequently accompanies singers and choirs as well as audition playing and keys depping.
Mischa Alexander is a freelance producer, specialising in new writing, one person shows, and productions with social and political interests. His work includes three offie-nominated shows and a fringe first winning production.
Zoe Mavrides is an actor, actor trainer, director and producer from London. She obtained her BA in Acting at Court Theatre Training Company (2019) and her MA in Actor Training and Coaching at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (2023). Zoe is also producing for the 2024 Camden Fringe and will be starring in Edward II at the Courtyard Theatre later this summer.
Madison Cole (any pronouns) is a theatre and film maker holding a dual B.A. in English and Theatre Studies from Yale University with concentrations in Playwriting and Directing, respectively. They have more than two dozen directing and assistant directing credits spanning across the US, UK, and Ireland, including the sold-out world premiere of Daughters of the Pirate Queen (National Concert Hall of Ireland), the off-West End run of Bronco Billy: The Musical (Charing Cross Theatre), and more. Her original play, Inferna is to be staged at the Alma Tavern Theatre in Bristol in September.
