Wally is a Mexican-Syrian stand-up comedian, writer, and actress currently living in NYC, who earned a 2026 Independent Spirit Award nomination for ‘Best Breakthrough Performance’ for her acting debut as a high school outsider on a mission to fit in at all costs in college. She is also a co-executive producer of the show created by Benito Skinner, with its second season on the way later this year.
Wally was named a Just For Laughs ‘New Face’ of stand-up comedy, made her late-night debut on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, and performs regularly at clubs and venues across the US.
She was a producer on the Netflix series, Neon, a co-producer on Apple TV’s, Shrinking, and has written for the Disney+ series English Teacher, What We Do In The Shadows on the BBC, HBO’s Betty, and Amazon’s Sprung.
Her comedy brings a unique perspective on the strange banalities of entering the adult world as well as growing up with a strong multi-cultural identity. She is also, unfortunately, Gen-Z.
