Goblin
Dark, theatrical comedy meets nostalgia in Goblin. Set in 2007, it tells the story of Eliot, an emo kid with an imaginary goblin who just wants to be loved. Peppered with period details ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, Eliot’s life takes a series of turns when he meets a much older reality TV star and begins transforming into something truly horrifying: the co-owner of a spin studio.
Named one of i News’ best shows of the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe, Goblin showcases Mitchell’s signature tight joke writing, intricately woven narratives, and nuanced characterisations, as he brings to life Eliot and the characters that populate his world.
