Gabriela Flarys: DELUGE

Tue 18 Feb 25 60 minutes
A Young(ish) Perspective

British Theatre Guide
In the wake of a relationship, a woman tries to contain the overflow of her thoughts…

She ends up stuck in a ladder, making out with a komodo dragon, fighting up against house leaks, holes and jam jars- that only seem to multiply.

Inspired by a break-up and over 40 interviews from a social media call-out, Deluge puts a magic realist spin on dealing with and overcoming grief. Blurring imagination with real stories by invoking a surreal, tender and humorous dreamscape.

Conceived & performed by Gabriela Flarys.
Directed by Andrea Maciel.
