A stand-out star in Superior Donuts, Friends of the People and his own Showtime special Give ‘Em Hell Kid, Jermaine Fowler is becoming a stalwart comedy performer. Additional television credits include a recurring role in the Judd Apatow produced Crashing, Robot Chicken, BoJack Horseman, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Late Late Show with James Cordon and the 69th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, for which he was the announcer.
Jermaine has also shared the big screen with Hollywood superstars such as Eddie Murphy, Lakeith Stanfield, Arsenio Hall, Leslie Jones, Terry Crews, Omari Hardwick, Tessa Thompson and Danny Glover.
“He spins tales that feel both expertly structured and completely uncontrolled, swapping out emotions and characters with terrifying ease.”
Jermaine began performing stand-up in 2006 while still in high school. On his 20th birthday, he boarded a Megabus and moved to New York City with three pieces of luggage and a dream. Wildly funny and full of infectious charm, Jermaine was named one of Variety’s ‘New Faces’ in 2012 at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. In 2017 Forbes’ featured him in their highly coveted ‘30 Under 30’ list.
