Autumn Theatre Season 2019
World premieres, Edinburgh transfers and returning Soho favourites - a new season of surprise and subversion.
Natasha is a writer and performer from the West Country and was a rising star in our Soho Theatre Young Company. With Soho Theatre, she’s been to Edinburgh and touring the world.
When Natasha first moved to London, one of the first things she saw was Arinze Kene’s God’s Property at Soho Theatre. So inspired, she joined Soho Theatre Young Company’s Writer’s Lab.
Whilst on the course she wrote her debut one-woman play, Half Breed, which was shortlisted for our young writer’s award, The Tony Craze Award and performed as part of our emerging talent programme, Soho Rising.
Half Breed was finalised as a script and picked up by Soho Theatre in a co-production with Talawa Theatre Company. Featured as part of our Edinburgh Fringe 2017 the show was a sell-out success, received rave reviews and was nominated for several awards.

Half Breed was such a success in both London and Edinburgh, we flew Natasha 5000 miles to perform in India as part of our international toruing programme, appearing in Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai amongst others.
Natasha is currently under commission by Soho Theatre for her second show.
‘India last year was such an amazing and surreal experience. This play initiates a conversation. It made me realise that the topics are universal and can resonate with people all over the world.’Natasha Marshall
