Where are you from?
Sorry, didn’t get you a drink, what would you like?
Well thank you…Malibu straight please
What is your go to homemade sore throat remedy?
Wake up in your own bed on a Saturday night lol
Who are your biggest musical influences?
I think at the moment Stormzy is really opening a lot of doors for the UK music scene and so good to see Craig David back in action, that guy is a legend.
What’s been your biggest musical achievement so far?
The release of my latest E.P – The Affirmation which by the way is available to download and stream on all major music outlets right now 🙂 #ShamelessPlug
What was it like getting to the final of The Naked Choir with the Stratford East Singers?
Other than people being disappointed there was no nakedness, it was an incredible experience, we was the only non-auditioned all-inclusive choir to take part in the competition and we came second runner up out of 180 choirs, I just wanted people to feel what I feel when I work with a bunch of random strangers who come together through music, I believe we represented so many amazing sounding community choirs out there
What’s your favourite song of all time?
This is like asking the meaning of life, it’s just one of those ones I can never truly answer lol, although I do think Luther Vandross ‘Never Too Much’ can make ex’s fall back in love for a whole 5 minutes, it’s that much of a tune!!
If you were putting together a 3-person vocal supergroup, who would you have in it?
Beyonce, Prince and Micheal Jackson, can you imagine, they could be called B.P.M
Finally… what song do you sing in the shower when you’re getting ready for a night out?
Spice Girls Spice Up Your Life…just kidding, no it all depends on what night I am getting ready for, recently been singing one of my original songs. ‘Own Company’ mainly cause I am normally on my way to perform it so helps me prepare.
We caught up with the dishy choir leader on Waltham Voices project as part of the Walthams Forest Parks Festival.
