The creative duo behind the critically acclaimed Glitter Punch, return with Weird, a bold, one woman show exploring obsessive compulsive disorder and body image. Based on writer Lucy Burke’s (Soho Theatre Writers Lab) own experiences, Weird is a darkly comic exploration the effects of one person’s mental health on a whole family; Weird looks at a life lived with undiagnosed OCD and asks how do we encourage sufferers to be more open about their struggles in a society that still sees this crippling disorder as nothing more than a jaunty adjective or a butt of a joke?
