Writing your first play

Get those creative juices flowing in this 60-minute taster workshop getting you started on writing your first play. Let’s get you generating ideas, putting pen to paper and write that story you’ve always wanted to tell.

Chloe is an award-winning theatre writer based in Leyton. Her work aims to amplify the voices of those who are denied one, to be inclusive and accessible, and to connect our communities with stories with heart. Her plays have been presented to audiences at the Hampstead Theatre, Theatre503, Milton Keynes Gallery, National Theatre, VAULT Festival and Small Truth Theatre’s Kensington Karavan. She has won a Judges Award Bruntwood Prize winner and had work shortlisted for the WiT Award and Theatre503’s Playwriting Award. She also works as a dramaturg and has taught playwriting workshops with Synergy Theatre Project, University of Herts for the Arts, Talawa and at Graeae, where she worked as Literary Manager.
