Autumn Theatre Season 2019
World premieres, Edinburgh transfers and returning Soho favourites - a new season of surprise and subversion.
PERFORMANCE STORYTELLING BY DANIEL MORDEN
A blacksmith batters himself with his hammer.
A fisherman throws back the fish he catches.
A blind man begs passers-by to strike him.
Shot through with powerful, mysterious images, Daniel Morden delves deep into lesser-known stories from the Arab world, some moving, some shocking, some bizarre, some ridiculous…. all of them strange.
No stranger to Crick -Crack Club audiences, Daniel is one of the UK’s most popular storytellers. He has the timing of a comedian and the insight of a poet. Daniel is best known for his work with the Devil’s Violin Company, and adaptations of Classical Greek mythology with Hugh Lupton. He has written books for both adults & children.
'A master storyteller.’
