This unique 2-hour workshop will take you through the process of directing a live show from conception to fringe.

Hosted by director Saima Ferdows and joined by other live comedy directors and acts, this event will demystify the experience of working with comedians and collaborating on their shows. Saima will take you through how she directed Sophie Duker’s Edinburgh debut Venus which was nominated for Best Newcomer this year.

This workshop is being run exclusively for People of Colour as there are only a handful of live comedy directors that are of colour and this is a first step to re-address this imbalance.

Panel guests include Amanda Baker, Rohan Acharya and Lakesha Arie-Angelo.

We have a limited amount of bursaries available to people on Universal Credit, other benefits, or a low income. If you require a bursary, please email dimple@sohotheatre.com
