We all had the desire to leave. I felt it from them. A pulse. A real flesh and blood pulse. I know they felt it, you couldn’t ignore it, couldn’t speak of it. So we silenced it’s beat.
A Dangerous Woman tells the story of one woman’s struggle to carve her own path in a family of six women. Women who are both allies and enemies.
Based on Manjeet’s own experience this bold and unapologetic new play explores what happens when you dare to challenge conformity, and make your voice heard. Recently labeled as a dangerous woman,
Manjeet Mann explores what it means to be strong and dangerous.
Following a successful UK tour of her debut show Flying Solo, A Dangerous Woman is being
developed with support from the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, Soho Theatre, Arcola Theatre and Quarterhouse Theatre.
Directed by Jerwood Directors Award recipient Yael Shavit, known for her work on critically acclaimed solo performances. Her most recent credits include Until You Hear That Bell by Sean Mahoney (BAC/ Tour), How To Die Of A Broken Heart by Femi Martin (Talawa) and Mouth Open Story Jump Out by
Polarbear (Unicorn/Tour).
Be the first to see this honest and unflinching brand new show.
