Want to try out a drag alter-ego, give lip-syncing a go or step into London’s cabaret scene for the first time?

Led by Molly Beth Morossa and Leah Kirby

If you live, work or study in Waltham Forest and are thinking of developing your cabaret and drag skills, look no further…

Our 10-week Cabaret & Drag Lab is a supportive environment taking participants through exercises and games to generate material and develop skills to create a new short set or act. The goal of the course is to create your own 3.5 minute set which you will perform at the end of term, in front of a live and supportive audience. The course will be made up of 15 participants who will be selected by the team and placed onto the course with a funded bursary. As this course is fully funded by the London Borough of Waltham Forest, it is designed for people who live, work or study within the borough.

The Cabaret & Drag Lab is designed to take place in person, with the group meet weekly on Saturday afternoons (2.5 hours), in Walthamtow. Classes will start on Saturday 2nd Oct leading up to a performance on Saturday 11 Dec. There will also be guest artists, popping in over the program to share their insight, expertise and skills. The course is designed for people aged 18 years or older and we ask that participants commit to attending all 10 weeks.
