‘An unabashedly wacky sweetheart.’ Times

Bryony Kimmings is a live artist who creates mind-blowing, multi-platform art works to provoke change, inspired by the taboos, stigmas, anomalies and social injustices around her.

Bryony’s work centres around outlandish social experiments that she conducts with genuine genius, intrigue and wholehearted fearless gusto. She sets her sights on the impossible and unconquerable, and turns the unspeakable into the years’ hottest topic.

In 2011 Soho Theatre commissioned Bryony to make 7 Day Drunk, spending seven days in a controlled environment in a constant state of intoxication exploring her relationship with, and dependency, on booze. Since then we’ve collaborated on Sex Idiot, becoming a pop star invented by a 9 year old in Credible Likeable Superstar Rolemodel and looking at depression and mental health in men in Fake It ’til You Make It.
