One of the most hard hitting and entertaining writers of a generation.

Anthony is probably the country’s leading, living, absurd writer.

A Scottish playwright and director commonly associated with in-yer-face theatre, Anthony is known for his collaborative way of writing and workshopping his plays. His work is characterised by the exploration of sex and violence.

In 2007 he wrote and directed God in Ruins at Soho Theatre.

Other Soho Theatre work includes Realism (2011) and The Night Before Christmas (2013) both directed by Soho Theatre Artistic Director Steve Marmion.
