Need some tips for structuring your story? This intensive workshop, led by James Graham, will help you hone your storytelling skills as the Verity Bargate Award submissions window approaches.
James Graham is a playwright and screenwriter. At the Soho Theatre, his work has included Monster Raving Loony in 2016 (with Plymouth Theatre Royal) and Tory Boyz (with National Youth Theatre, 2008). Other theatre includes This House (West End, 2016; National Theatre 2012), which was nominated for the Evening Standard and the Olivier Best Play award; Privacy (Public Theater New York, 2016; Donmar Warehouse, 2014); The Vote, which was broadcast live from the Donmar Warehouse on More4 on the night of the general election 2015; Finding Neverland on Broadway 2015; The Angry Brigade (Paines Plough and Bush Theatre 2015); The Whisky Taster (Bush Theatre, 2010).
On screen, his single film Coalition (Channel 4) was broadcast in the run up to the election in 2015. His first feature film X+Y was selected for both the Toronto International and the London Film Festival in 2014 before its international release in cinemas in 2015.
