Watch interview with the cast, writer and director.

A viciously funny and daring new play, written by London’s most exciting new voice, Vicky Jones. Directed by Soho Theatre’s Artistic Director Steve Marmion. Starring the award-winning actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Harry and Jo are up all night drawing the battle lines of their relationship with sex, violence and Wotsits. A viciously funny play, The One invites you into the world of a couple trapped in a destructive and violent cycle of love and lust.

Vicky Jones is winner of the Verity Bargate Award, Soho Theatre’s national competition for the best new play by an emerging writer, chosen out of 800 submissions.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is winner of a Fringe First Award 2013, The Stage’s Best Solo Performer 2013, Critics’ Circle Award 2013 and two OffWestEnd awards (most promising playwright and best female performance), all for recent production Fleabag.

Joining Phoebe Waller-Bridge are Rufus Wright who has most recently played David Cameron alongside Helen Mirren in The Audience and Lu Corfield who’s theatre work includes Headlong’s Medea and the RSC’s Days of Significance.
