‘A novel show that finds a way to stand out…very slick and accomplished.’
List

If there was ever a show that ticks all the diversity boxes, then Jen’s got it all. Not only has she got the unique ability of having mixed heritage, she’s got mixed Indian heritage and she’s a woman!

Although she feels like a 20-year-old sprite from London, she’s closer to 30 and has realised she’s got some stuff she wants to share with you. Let’s just say that she has exploited her ethnic ambiguity and is fully aware of the pros and cons of having a melanin passport.

Jen Wakefield’s debut show fresh from the Fringe will be a high energy hour of fun, with beats, bars, characters and sketches. There’ll be a grime tutorial that’s Peri-Peri hot, the quirkiest hybrid cleaner you’ll ever meet, a dating show with a questionable premise and a daring girl from Delhi. Come and see why nobody… puts Jen… in the corner.
