Alexei’s varied career spans work as comic, novelist, actor and columnist. His acclaimed second volume of memoirs, Thatcher Stole My Trousers, was published last year and his recent BBC Radio 4 series Alexei Sayle’s Imaginary Sandwich Bar was nominated for both a Comedy Award and a Chortle Award.
