A Gala Evening

To raise vital funds for the UK presentation of The Belarus Free Theatre.

Guests are invited to join us for a performance of the Belarus Free Theatre's Being Harold Pinter which, for one night only, will feature some of Britain's highest profile actors, alongside members of the Company. The Gala commitee is chaired by Sir Tom Stoppard. 

On 22 August 2007 a performance by this underground theatre group was stormed by state forces and fifty people were arrested. Soho Theatre seeks to maximise the exposure for The Belarus Free Theatre company and to show solidarity with their pursuit of freedom of expression.
