thursday 12 july

Today was the second day of performances – and as ever it was really crazy this morning. We came in at 9am and started to set up for the 12 plays that are in the second half. By the time everyone got in (the tubes were dodgy again!) we were late starting and we had a very hasty dress rehearsal – where we went through the plays with all the lights, sound and projections. Before you know it was 12 o’clock and everyone was arriving for the 1pm show. It was nice to pop in and see the workshop that Ash was running with the schools – everyone seemed to be having a good time. I thought that the show was brilliant. We had a great audience that were really having a good time and that rubbed off on the actors!  Some of the plays really surprised me and they were definitely all performed wonderfully – I was really proud to see all the elements come together so well – light, sound, design and projections – it was a success! Hooray!
