Very sleepy this morning..lol..Just about to start ‘Blind by Love’ by Magdalen Simoes-Brown. The piece is really funny, with lots of twists in the plot, hilarious characters and great one-liners! Lol… Suzanne is rehearsing with the other actors at the moment, so I have some time off to learn lines and sneak off to the shop to buy food. Suzanne will probably tell me off when she reads this..lol..right I’m off speak soon!!

Had a great time this morning I watched the actors block some of the plays. They look really good along with the sound effects and the props are looking good. Some of the plays are really funny and they have great storylines considering age 11’s are the writers! So far I have had a great time here looking forward to watching the plays on the stage!

Following on from Abi, I’ve had an amazing time here at Soho for the last two days and I am too looking forward to the rest of the week and also to watching the show. Everyone here no matter what job, are all so talented in so many different ways…everyone’s really friendly and I feel that I have gained more understanding of theatre studies and how hectic everything can be but, I hope that I can develop this into my work at school. Everything is looking great! Much love!

There are 22 plays to be performed this year and I can’t believe how much we’ve done in two days! After reading through the plays yesterday morning we started working on Day 1 – Wednesday’s plays. There are 10 of them and they are all so different! I really like the comedy in Charlie’s got the Hots, the creepiness of the teacher Mr Olsen in The Crypt, the dance opportunities in The Lost Girl and the strangeness of The Fridge and Beyond. After we had staged all the plays we then did a run through of all the plays this afternoon. It was crazy! The actors were brilliant and made all the plays come alive! There are some great funny moments, such as finding Mr Boombastic in Capers in Candyland, but I was also touched by the more serious moments such as the Max’s blind passion in Blind by Love. I’m enjoying it a lot!
