The design team have been really busy making props over the last few days. The most challenging has been creating Barbie, action man, the bear and the car for Run (one of Friday's plays). We spend most days covered in colourful paint and pva glue!!

Came into work the evening shows and the place looks like a Blue Peter workshop – excellent!

It's now the end of day four and we have been through all the plays once. Phew! There’s so much in the show!
We did a “run through” of all the plays that are on Friday this morning. It's great watching a run through because you get transported into so many different worlds – there’s the Hollywood of Starlotte Sneaker ( I like the fact that she doesn’t get caught by fame in the end), the second world war of London Terror – and the modern but very strange house in Menagerie Mansion. I like Elizabeth’s hero Robbie Williams and we have a great wig for Laura who’s playing the character! Roy the tortoise is a great character – I love the stories that he tells! All the props and costumes are arriving at the moment so we are all getting excited about how it's coming together. We’ve been talking about the lights at lunchtime and now I’m off I’m off to listen to some music and sounds that sound designers have given to me.
