London’s most vibrant venue for new writing, comedy and cabaret is recruiting two key posts – General Manager and Theatre Producer.
Soho Theatre has pioneered a programming model which is now working successfully across its three performances spaces to attract audiences approaching 150,000 a year. This is a key time to join Soho Theatre as we start to realise ambitious plans to extend our live work beyond the building, build creative industry associations, and develop new partnerships to work with international collaborations and digital content.
With a festival-like feel, Soho Theatre needs a General Manager to ensure that one of the capital’s busiest venues runs like clockwork, and a Theatre Producer to ensure that we balance this to create the right space and conditions to realise the highest quality work.
General Manager is a senior position, supporting the Executive Director to ensure the smooth operational management and delivery of the Theatre’s activities. The General Manager works closely with the finance and operations departments and will have a track record in arts management, preferably in a producing venue.
Soho Theatre welcomes applications from all sections of the community and will endeavour to meet all access needs.
For details on how to apply, please read through the guidance notes (downloadable here). Applicable forms are also available and need to be included in your application; a job description and staff structure are also available to support applications.
Closing date is noon on 28 May 2012 – late applications will not be accepted. Interviews are scheduled for 31 May & 1 June 2012.
